Frequently Asked Questions
Why is Larry Stafford running for US Senate?
To apply common sense solutions to America's problems. Larry is fed up with the nonsense spewed out of Washington by the professional political class and their special interest supporters. He knows that his working-man's attitude is desperately needed to clean out the gunk in our nation's capital and make our government run more efficiently and effectively.
Is Larry Stafford qualified to be a United States Senator?
Larry is not only qualified, he's the best candidate for the job. Not only by his common sense approach to problem solving, but also because of his respect for the US Constitution. Right now, the only person in Washington upholding the Constitution is US Congressman Ron Paul. Larry Stafford would join him, championing the Constitution in the US Senate.
Consider also that the US has been at war for 7 years now and there is no end in sight. As the only candidate in the Illinois US Senate race with military experience, Larry is uniquely qualified to understand the role of the military and the impact of war on the men and women currently serving, our veterans, and military families.
Why should I vote for Larry Stafford?
Representing the people of Illinois in the US Senate is a job that requires solid judgment, trustworthiness, and an understanding of the US Constitution. Larry's dedication to his family and country and his reputation in the military and civilian workforces demonstrate that he is a person deserving of our vote.
Would voting for Larry Stafford be wasting my vote?
We vote to shape public policy. Voting for candidates whose policies you disagree with is worse than wasting your vote; it's actually voting against your best interest and the best interest of our country. Please use your vote wisely by voting for the best person for the job.
Does Larry Stafford have a chance to win?
Absolutely. All it takes is people just like you to support his campaign and vote for him. If, however, Larry does not win, he will have brought the message of common sense Libertarian solutions to many people in Illinois, paving the way for future common sense candidates to win.
